I was disappointed last night with Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow, just so you know. Though I'm becoming more and more fond of that one guy that was in it. Forget his name. He's the one who sold his soul to satan this last year or so and is now in every movie currently in production. Hold on, let me look at the box! (Oh the simple Jenious of it) Jude Law, that's his name. He's interesting to watch move... if that makes sense.

My kitty is a whole year old. Happy Birthday to Oscar. Because of such he is now eating big kitty food. The Salmon and Tuna flavor, actually. He seems to like it. I was expecting him to throw a fit when I changed his food because that's just the kind of kitty that my little Oscar is. But he went and surprised me and seems to like it better than the last stuff. This weekend we're going to bake him a cake and throw him a party. Why? Because I am a huge freaking dork and need something in my life that is not school.
Ryan and I had a huge fight and sometimes boys are horrible. Things are better now, but sometimes I just want to slap him silly. Sometimes I just want to slap everyone silly.
I need to remember to take out my contacts tonight. My eyes would thank me, I'm sure.
This quarter needs to end now. Week eight is just not close enough to finals week. Damn school. I want a new schedule! I want a break! I want to sleep! I want to stop stressing about everything and the ceiling! I just want to be able to breathe. Is breathing really such a bad thing? |

I know, I need to update--but I don't have a whole lot of time, so here's a quick one.
I've been sick. it sucks. I couldn't remember where my stop was on the bus ride home on Friday, I had to ask the bus driver and looked like a complete moron. "where's 13th and Tacoma? I knew yesterday, but now I can't find it...." yeah, I hate being sick. Missed studio on Friday. Hopefully the only one I ever miss. Though I heard Garrett was in a bad mood... hopefully he's better today. Hopefully I'm still on the right track and not a huge disappointment or something.
Took my math midterm on Friday. answered all the questions, but kept passing out during--so I'm assuming I didn't do so well.
Still trudging through Justice... still same old same old.
Loving my french instructor, thinking about signing up for a few french classes next term and seeing if I can get her again--since they don't post instructors with the schedule.
Ryan is wonderful. He's been taking care of me. He's unbelievably sweet.
I really want Lily and Katey and Emily and yes--Valley to come visit me over spring break. We can have a grand ol' time in Portland.
Wednesday after our review the studio is going DRINKING together... hehehehe well, all but three, who aren't as of yet 21. Fun, fun, fun....
but now I have to go to class. Have fun |

one am and I just got an idea for my second collage. Don't you love it when shit like this happens? Even better: I need my mylar to work it out properly. Otherwise it just won't work. SO I'm sleeping now, and leaving for school supper early. Like seven. as in, leaving the house at seven. Wow, I'm either really dedicated or really delusional.

so, interesting story. After work today I went to the library to wait for class to start. (I'm a wuss and wanted to sit down because it was cold and I was tired. and I fell asleep. Sitting up in a chair, in the library. I did not wake up until 6pm (I got off work at noon). And here's the kicker: I only woke up because someone was trying to steal my purse. Thankfully I was using it as a pillow. They were trying to take it out from under my head, I woke up, asked them what the hell they were doing, and the guy was like "ummm... I'm just, uh, waking you up...." So I told him to get the hell out of there. I was groggy and it didn't occur to me to report this to anyone. Once I realized where I was and what time it was, I freaked out because I didn't get anything accomplished (nor did I go to class-damn it) and I had to pick up Ryan at 8:30. |

garrett gave us all orders to go home and sleep tonight. so what do I do? do I sleep? no, of course not, I TRY to catch up on all the crap I have going on in other classes that I've been unable to get to due to this damn architecture crap. Though I think now I'm going to sleep. Hopefully I'll catch up again (and not sleep through any more classes!)

In other news, I just went to go switch out my laundry, and I saw my pretty ring in the bottom of the machine. Wow, who knows how that happened. It must have fallen off--and luckily it did into the washer and I saw it.
The good side: my ring is clean and sparkly! So if you need any jewlry cleaned, just throw it in with your whites. |

I have a long entry coming this weekend, when I have a chance to breathe, but in the meantime, here's something.
I purposely stayed away from the computer during break. For the most part it was good, but there were a few disappointments.
Classes are going alright so far, though I'm busy as all hell. Right now I'm spending about 12 hours a day on campus. I don't care who you are, that's a long time for week one!
Ryan's fine, Oscar's fine and obnoxious. Our new comforter is amazingly wondrous.
Architecture studio is daunting as all hell, but my first pin up went fine and I didn't cry, so that is definately getting off onto the right foot! Hopefully things continue to go well. I have another project due tomorrow, so I'll let you know. |

well, architecture is over, and I think I did alright. we'll see though, I guess.
I found out my work schedule for next week: Monday and tuesday 10-2. So now I just have to talk with Ryan and mom, look at train schedules, and then buy my ticket. I'll let people know when I have something definate.
Ryan is going to be using the computer a lot from now on, just so you all know. He's got a lot of things to do before his finals. |
